La problématique du cancer du sein chez les personnes âgées est éclairée par deux bases de données épidémiologiques constituées aux États-Unis : la base de données de San Antonio et le SEER (Surveillance Epidemology and End Results) qui représente un suivi de 26% de la population américaine. Les données recensées permettent une approche des composantes cliniques et biologiques en fonction de l’âge de la maladie ainsi que des facteurs de co-morbidité. Les informations relatives aux choix thérapeutiques sont plus fragmentaires et devront être développées en priorité dans la suite des programmes.
Abstract
The question of the breast cancer in elderly is enlightened by two constituted epidemiological data bases in the United-States: the data basis of San Antonio and the SEER (Surveillance Epidemology and End Results) which represent a follow-up of 26% of the American population. The listed data allow an approach of the clinical and biological constituents according to the age of the disease as well as the factors of comorbidity. The informations relative to the therapeutic choices are more fragmentary and must be developed first and foremost during the programs
